Family Haven trip to Jump in Bristol

The Family Haven organised a trip to Jump for the children, parents and two members of staff on the 12th April 2018. They were all in sensible clothing and had their packed lunches for the children. The coach only took forty-five minutes – therefore it wasn’t too much of a restless journey for the children. All the children were very well behaved and sat nicely on the coach, when we arrived at Jump we had our own room where the parents could put their bags and coats, the staff members told the parents what time they had to be ready to leave then they all went downstairs to play. Overall I think the building was very secure and the children were safe because they could not get out of the building, even within the different play zones the children were not able to escape as there was a security buttons you needed to press to let them in or out, so you knew where your children were at all times. Both children and adults had a fun packed day, the children absolutely loved it and were all exhausted by the time they got back to the coach. Throughout the day it was a good opportunity for the staff to interact with the parents to build on their partnerships.
