She covered our history and mission giving several case studies where The Family Haven have assisted vulnerable families in Gloucestershire. After a description of how we use our facilities in Spa Road, Gillian told of our on going need for Friends and Volunteers and our need for funds to enable us to continue to the Charity’s purpose which after 25 years is still very relevant.
St. Mary’s are donating the Harvest Sunday collections, the proceeds from the Harvest Supper and the sale of Harvest Goods to The Family Haven. Several people at the supper have bought our Calendar and Jubilee Cookbook.
Our thanks to St. Mary’s congregation.
